A great, quiet pass. The route goes through a tunnel, making it easy to enjoy the ascent and descent. Great views, a steady climb (coming from the south). Be careful on rapid descents—you might encounter a herd of horses and donkeys on the road here.

The tunnel is currently closed, so all traffic is going over the pass. But traffic will be limited, at least on May 9, 2025.

Beautiful road, calm and easy even with loaded panniers. You can even come across herds of horses or sheep! We loved this climb.

I think this year (2024) will be the last year that the viewpoint is accessible to hikers. We met the owner of the piece of land, who is currently in the process of building a café there, for which he wants to fence off the railing around it and charge admission. The entire hiking route will probably not be accessible for much longer due to the increasing privatization of the land - what a pity!

The drive to the Llogara Pass is a bit of work, but the views along the way are fantastic.

You have a great view of Dhërmi Beach, the sea and the surrounding mountains. The available seating invites you to linger and enjoy the great view.

Brutally tiring in the midday heat, but doable despite having your bike packed - just keep pedaling. At least with a very nice view while fighting ;D
