Evans Lookout sits on the edge of the Grose Valley, with sweeping views across sandstone cliffs and deep forested gorges. Just a short walk from the car park, it’s a favourite spot for sunrise and sunset and a common access point for the Grand Canyon Track. From here, you can descend into the canyon, following the track through rainforest gullies and sandstone walls before looping back to the rim.

Grand Canyon Track is a 6-kilometre loop walk that winds through lush rainforest, past waterfalls you can walk behind, fern‑lined creeks, rugged rock ledges, and impressive sandstone overhangs, offering both up-close canyon scenery and panoramic views from the rim. Rated as a Grade 3 (moderate) walk, it typically takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete. The beautiful scenery, steep staircases and several creek crossings make it one of the region's most iconic, and rewarding hikes in the Blue Mountains.

Even in summer it remains pleasant thanks to the many trees with their shade, a beautiful play of light.

The way down is not very easy but it is worth it... the way back is much harder.

Clovelly Beach is a small and quiet beach at the end of a narrow bay. The beach is popular with families and snorkelers. Concrete platforms and boardwalks have been built on both sides of the bay and are popular places for sunbathing. There are steps to access the water, making Clovelly Beach more like a large sea pool than a beach. The beach is a very popular snorkelling spot with a diverse marine life. The beach is home to a large native giant wrasse nicknamed 'Bluey'. There is a 25m x 6m saltwater pool on the lowest platform on the south side of the beach. A ramp on the north side of the beach allows people with disabilities to access the water.

Tamarama Beach is a small beach nestled between two prominent headlands, with a sand-filled valley at its far end, surrounded by pleasant parkland and picnic areas. Due to its deep water, small size, and easterly exposure, Tamarama is dangerous for most swimmers, even in moderate swells. According to the Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club, it is considered the most dangerous patrolled beach in New South Wales, with more rescues per thousand bathers than any other Sydney beach. A small swell can generate currents of up to 2 meters per second. There are always one or two currents present, so the entire surf zone is practically ripped. As the swell increases, an offshore rock outcrop forms a stunning 12- to 15-foot wave, attracting dedicated surfers, photographers, and spectators who enjoy the spectacular view from the clifftops.
