Nyastølsfossen is a thundering waterfall and the second of four major falls on the hike up through Husedalen. It plunges down a 115 meter drop, a hugely impressive sight.

The waterfall is easily accessible via a gravel road.

The Tveitafossen has a flow rate of 10 000 liters/sec. It's incredible. It is the first of four waterfalls on this hike, so be sure to keep going. Wear good shoes and pack a picnic.

A scenically impressive tour. The Troll's Tongue is the crowning glory. Good weather is a must, otherwise you'll simply have no visibility. Hiking boots are recommended, and an early start is recommended; otherwise, the trail will be a nightmare. Have fun ❣️

A very strenuous, steep climb (partly next to/under the water pipeline) over rocks and later through the forest, over roots and rocks. The views of the waterfalls are continually breathtaking. Absolute surefootedness is a prerequisite. The return journey, along a partially newly paved forest path, is relaxing.

Tveitafossen is the first of the four beautiful waterfalls in the Husedalen. It cascades for over 338 feet (103 m), a spectacular sight from the gravel trail.

Currently (September 2024) the path around the lake to the so-called beach (please do not swim, it is a drinking water reservoir) is closed, so you only have to walk about 5km there and back from the parking lot.
