Anyone coming from Floyen and wanting to hike to Ulriken should take a look at the climb from here and consider their fitness. The next 3 kilometers are challenging and require a fair amount of climbing skill. It's a relentless climb.

As well as a beautiful lake to run around Revurtjernet is also rich in birdlife. The lake earned its name thanks to the foxes that can sometimes be spotted on its banks.

Rundemanen is one of the seven mountains surrounding Bergen and offers a quiet alternative to the more popular peaks. The ascent leads through forested paths and wide plateaus before reaching the summit. There, the distinctive radio tower stands, visible from afar and serving as a landmark.
