Fantastic views from Camp 1 to Dogubayazit and into Iran. The Ceven Travel camp is still relatively comfortable. The tents even have beds. Only a squat toilet is available.

Camp 1 at around 3,300 m can still be reached by off-road vehicle. The individual expedition providers have their fixed areas here.

In 1959, Turkish Air Force Captain İlhan Durupınar discovered a conspicuous geological formation resembling the hull of a ship near the city of Doğubeyazıt in eastern Turkey in an aerial photograph. It is located 27 kilometers south of Mount Ararat on a mountain flank of the volcano Tendürek Dağı at 2004 m above sea level. M., is around 160 meters long and is now called Durupınar after its discoverer.

The Gola Masiyan, in English fish lake, is a dammed lava lake. Beautiful place to chill, swim and relax.
