A super great place that you should see

The Hohe Wand Nature Park offers a spectacular viewing terrace with the Skywalk, which was built directly into the rock and gives visitors the feeling of floating over the abyss. The view stretches far across the Vienna Alps to Lake Neusiedl. Secured by iron bars, the platform is an impressive experience - but not for people with a fear of heights. The nature park is open all year round and, in addition to the Skywalk, offers numerous hiking trails, climbing routes, playgrounds and even a zoo, making it ideal for family outings. The atmosphere here is particularly unique early in the morning or at sunrise.

The Steinerne Stadl is a natural rock bridge that originates from a collapsed cave. This is also called a passage cave. Remains of stone tools and ceramics have been found inside the Steinerne Stadel and it is now assumed that this cave also served as a cult room from the Neolithic period to the Iron Age (and possibly later). Its proximity to the Hoffmannshöhle indicates a resonance/connection. In front of the cave you can find a free-standing stone with two deep, artificially created stone bowls. The position and arrangement of the bowls (at the top, in a free-standing stone, so very impractical for grinding grain - without protection from rainwater ...) and their shape give rise to mystical speculations about their use. The Eisenstein Cave, whose entrances are located at 380 m above sea level, is the most important thermal cave on the western edge of the southern Vienna Basin (Fischau Mountains). The 73 m deep and around 2 km long, shaft-like cave is located on a fracture zone parallel to the slope (thermal line) in young tertiary breccia (sausage marble). The thermal spring at the deepest point of the cave has a temperature of around 15.5 °C. Collapsed blocks and corrosion forms characterize the fissures richly decorated with coral and popcorn sinter. The Hohe Wand Nature Park is open daily (until 6 p.m. in summer, until 5 p.m. in winter). You get the feeling of floating on the viewing terrace built into the rocks. A great experience! Very nice path, always along the water with several smaller waterfalls. There are many wooden bridges and also ramps and stairs. Entrance fee (I think 5€)

The Unterberg summit is the highest point of the Unterberg, a mountain in the Gutenstein Alps in Lower Austria. It has a height of 1,342 meters and offers wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. From the summit you can see the Schneeberg, the Rax, the Schöpfl, Vienna and Lake Neusiedl. To get to the Unterberg summit, there are various hiking trails that vary in length and difficulty depending on the starting point. Here are some examples: From the Myralucke the hike takes about 2 hours and leads along a forest path and a path through the forest. From Muggendorf the hike takes around 3 hours and leads over a steep mountain meadow or a leisurely summit path. From Miragraben the hike takes about 1.5 hours and leads along a wide path along the stream. On the way to the summit you can also visit the Unterberg refuge, which is open all year round and offers accommodation, food and events. The refuge is about 150 meters below the summit and is an ideal place to rest and enjoy.
