Charming mountain hut in the Maderanertal at 2032 m altitude.

The Windgällenhütte, located at 2,032 m in the picturesque Maderanertal, offers 60 beds in nine bright rooms, each with 4-15 beds equipped with Nordic blankets and pillows. The facility is open from the beginning of June to mid-October, while in the winter period there is a winter room with 8 beds, accessible by telephone reservation. Of course, the path remains airy and scrambling, but is wonderfully secured with a rope. I've seen those who have secured themselves with a via ferrata set, of course it's also possible, but not necessary. A head for heights and sure-footedness is of course a must, the path remains a T4+ and is a wonderful climbing path for experienced hikers with a great panorama from the summit 😍😄👌
