The Erede or "della Rete" tower stands a short distance from Zena castle. It has anthropomorphic and zoomorphic stone figures incorporated into the external masonry. Dating back to the 14th century, it probably had lookout functions serving the castle itself. From there, in fact, the view embraces Loiano, Barbarolo, La Rupe di Sadurano, with Brento, Monte Adone, Zula and closer Gorgognano and Tazzola. Between the 1980s and 1990s, a wooden crown protruding from the masonry similar to those that were once found on most of the towers was built. The other buildings in the village in which the building stands were added or rebuilt in the sixteenth century.
