A nice place here. But quite crowded in summer.

On the western side of the lake there are hardly any public paths to the lake. Everything is built up. I don't know what it looks like on the east side. The one bathing area where I was on the west side is probably overcrowded in summer... In itself it is a beautiful lake with a great view. !!! But there is currently a warning about Burgundy blood algae: https://radio-oberland.de/news/2024-12-03-algen-pilsensee.

Very, very nice here. Presumably overcrowded in summer, but on a sunny day in winter you can have the glittering lake all to yourself.
