It's somewhat hidden at a large crossroads in the Brennterbock forest section. A few clearly visible trails lead to the shore, but the area is not accessible. The pond is said to be a former sand pit filled with groundwater. An old shelter is located at the crossroads.

Great sunny meadow, a few benches would be nice -) with a picnic blanket but great in summer

Because of sudden heavy rain I found shelter here for 45 minutes. Further towards Pappenheim, down by the forest, there is another one (without a barbecue area).

There are chairs and a table in the house, which you are welcome to use. Please keep clean and tidy up again

In this area on the Nagelberg plateau is the Hexentanzplatz, a barbecue area with a refuge. According to legend, witches from the area meet there on Walpurgis Night.

There are six signposted routes with different levels of difficulty, for beginners e.g. the Julian Trail to the black route of the toboggan run. It is possible to bypass most sections of the route. For beginners there is a practice course & pump track at the valley station. The classic Eulenhof Trail has a length of 2,500m and is an absolute "must".

Nice little course. Also very crowded on weekends as families like to visit.
