A truly beautiful bridge to admire with its magnificent arches. Plus: a fantastic barbecue and picnic area right on the water, with a bistro (during the season) and restrooms. A prime location for a quick refreshment break and/or a swim in Lake Wohlen or the Aare.

Opening hours of the castle, museum and special exhibitions 1st and 3rd Sunday of the months April - October from 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Every Wednesday to Friday from July 3rd to August 26th, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guided tours of the museum, the castle and the special exhibitions are possible at any time on request. The Laupen Castle Foundation has been managing the castle and its surroundings since December 1, 2012. For you as a visitor, we will preserve the buildings, some of which are 1000 years old, and let you immerse yourself in the Middle Ages without having to forego the amenities of the 21st century.
