Distinctive saddle between Zulzigraben and Justistal. An impressive place with steep walls to the east and west and special valleys to the north and south. Pleasant on foot, arduous on the bike.

It’s impossible to climb there without an e-bike (from both sides). I had to push for a long time.

An absolutely fantastic trail that I will never forget in its beauty - but also its danger. I have to give a serious warning at this point - especially for inexperienced mountain hikers, such as myself. This was my first tour in Grindelwald. I arrived with great anticipation and drove to the Kleine Scheidegg in anticipation of a sunny T2 beginner's tour with the spectacular backdrop of the Eiger north face. Nothing indicated the difficulties that would await me on this route. Contrary to my expectations, I then struggled across several snow fields on this trail. At the finish at the Alpiglen mountain inn, I then noticed very clearly that this trail was closed. Unfortunately, this was not indicated in any way on the Kleine Scheidegg side. The reason for this closure was avalanches and rockfalls. My wonderful tour could have ended very dramatically. Therefore, for this and similar trails in the Jungfrau region, always consult the Jungfrau Railways website. All trails are marked there as "open" or "closed". Towards the end of June, the wonderful mountain spring awakens. I would definitely not recommend this hike any earlier.

The ascent from the Justistal is better with E-MTB, in some places the pushing aid must be used

Pass with a great past. Connects Wengernalpbahn Wengen with Grindelwald. The surrounding mountains with their peaks are impressive. Very touristy in the season!!!! Very!!! Starting point for many great hikes. The cog railway takes you up to the restaurant on the Jungfraujoch. Particularly striking. The view of the north face of the Eiger. First ascent 1938! Many alpinists have lost their lives here.

From the Kleine Scheidegg you have the most beautiful view of the alpine triumvirate Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In addition, you also have wonderful views of the tourist resorts of Mürren and Grindelwald, you can go on short hikes and, as a highlight, take the cog railway to the Jungfraujoch.
