The former marl pit is now a beautiful leisure pool. A day ticket costs €3.00 and is well worth it.

Great surface, nice through the forest. It's narrow, but there was nothing going on in the whole area anyway. Therefore absolutely suitable for racing bikes.

A total of six villages belong to the two parishes. The two parishes have been working closely together for many years and not only share a church office and a pastor's position, but also organize the extra-service program together.

A gem by the wayside.

The Ladelund natural pool consists of two connected lakes, idyllically framed by a charming landscape. The water fed by springs and regularly examined is of the best quality and guaranteed not to have been chemically treated. The natural swimming pool offers diving platforms with one, three and five meters, a large sunbathing area, a beach volleyball court, a kiosk and a sanitary area. There is a separate pool with a slide and island for the little ones. From June up to and including August, the natural pool is guarded daily from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. by lifeguards from the DLRG. Opening hours: June 1st to August 31st from 1pm to 8pm

The St. Laurentius Church is located outside of Karlum and is a late Romanesque brick building with the typical arched windows. The first written mention of the church was 800 years ago. In Siegfried Lenz's filming "The German Lesson", the church formed the picturesque backdrop.
