Very beautiful cloister with sculptures of musicians

Located on the heights of Tain l'Hermitage, the Saint-Christophe chapel offers a breathtaking view of the Rhône valley and the vineyards. It faces Tournon-sur-Rhône. It was built in 1864. Legend has it that it was erected on the site of an ancient Roman temple.

Small fishing pond in the heart of the municipal forest of Montrigaud offers a very bucolic setting. This place is ideal for taking a short break. A shaded picnic area is located right next to the pond. You will find, along the pond, information panels on the surrounding flora and fauna.

Located in the town of Saint-Donat-sur-l'Herbasse, the collegiate church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul dates from 894. A text mentions a church dedicated to Saint Mary or Saint Donat in the Vicus Jovinziacus. Originally Romanesque in style, it has an imposing porch bell tower, the first level of which dates from the 13th century. In 1940, the nave was completely rebuilt. It has been listed as a historical monument since 1906 and has a magnificent cloister.

This Romanesque church, which dates from the 11-12th century, is built of molasse cut stone and pebbles. It is nestled on a hill overlooking the old cemetery and the village of Chantemerle. It is superbly well preserved and delights lovers of architecture.
