Castelsardo is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. It is located on the Anglona promontory and at the top of the town stands the medieval fortress. A walk to explore the alleys is recommended.

Castelsardo is a fascinating medieval village. Visiting the historic center under the fortress is certainly worth it, even if the climb up the stairs can be a bit tiring. The town, traditionally fishermen, is known for the art of basket weaving. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the hamlet at the top of the hill in the distance.

Isola Rossa on the north coast of Sardinia is a holiday village with a harbor and a beautiful setting right on the sea. The name "red island" comes from a small island in front of the village of Isola Rossa, which stands out with its red rocks and also offers a natural protection for the port. From here you have a direct view of the "Gulf of Asinara" in the northwest of Sardinia. The Costa Smeralda, Santa Teresa Gallura, Stintino and Alghero are not far from here. The former fishing village can be easily reached via well-developed roads, the picturesque location by the sea and the bizarre rock formations on the north coast of Sardinia make the whole thing attractive. Also under water there is a dreamlike world with corals and grottos of different sizes and depths in the clear and fish-rich water of the coast. Isola Rossa is not very busy outside of the high season, but the place is lively during the season. All sorts of activities are possible here - from water sports and beaches to excursions into the mountains inland. Many attractive day trips are also possible from Isola Rossa.
