It's frozen in winter, it's simply sublime! A little hard to find if the snow is fresh and no one has been there yet, but it's definitely worth the detour!

Hønefossen is a waterfall located right in the centre of town, where the Begna river makes a notable drop. You get good views of the falls from the bridge crossing the river. It's an easy and worthwhile spot for a quick pause during your tour.

This section of the Sæterbekken stream drops steeply over several steps. I visited this waterfall during a dry period in April 2025, but it was still worth the trip. From this spot, you can see the waterfall particularly well.
