Damtjern is a scenic highland lake that serves as a major gateway to the surrounding wilderness. The lake is nestled within a dense forest of spruce and pine, characterized by its calm waters and rugged, rocky shoreline.

Beautiful place above Oslo, you can easily explore the city by bike.

On the eastern shores of Bogstadvannet is Bogstad Manor, a beautiful manor house. There's a cafe here for some post run refreshment, while there's also a museum where you can find out more about the history of the lake and house.
