노드캅‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪7‬개의 호수

80년대와 90년대에 Kjelvik를 여러 번 방문했습니다. 그때 Ottar는 대부분의 시간을 아내와 두 자녀와 함께 Kjelvik에서 보냈습니다. 우리가 거기에 있을 때 저는 묘지가 관리되도록 - 낫으로 베어지도록 했습니다.

Festive atmosphere everywhere Throughout Norway, the spectacular event surrounding the midnight sun is celebrated with dancing, music, games, boat trips, and bonfires until late into the night. Along the coast, residents flock to the fjords in their boats to light a fire on one of the many small islands and enjoy a cozy gathering with family and friends. No one thinks about sleeping here – the search for a nice spot begins in the afternoon, where they can spend the day enjoying themselves until late into the night. In convivial company, people enjoy typical Norwegian fish and Norwegian beer.

The last few meters to the North Cape. There are some very tough climbs until you make it.

Reindeer are quite common in this region. We saw the first about 100km south of the Arctic Circle. From there on we saw a large number several times a day. They are usually more afraid of people on bicycles than of cars.

Kjelvik is an uninhabited place with a few houses used as summer homes. Kjelvik used to be the largest town on the island of Mageroya, but due to its remote location this increasingly shifted in favor of Honningsvåg. Kjelvik was completely destroyed in the Second World War. Kjelvik can be reached both by boat and on foot via a hiking trail that zigzags down the cliff, partially secured with ropes/chains.

From here you have a beautiful view of the picturesque village. From a distance it looks like something out of a picture book.

As the climb(s) to reach the Northcape may be quite exhausting, get new energy while enjoying tje beautiful nature on your last 35 km to Nordkap :-)
