The Ky Lan Pagoda (Chùa Kỳ Lân) is a spiritual site in the heart of Ninh Binh, located at the foot of the mountain of the same name (Núi Kỳ Lân). In the evening, it is completely illuminated with strings of lights and lanterns.

Lotus Lake in Ninh Binh is a beautiful place, especially when the lotus blossoms are in full bloom. Many Vietnamese people come here, often in traditional costume, to take stunning photos against the backdrop of the lake. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the lively hustle and bustle and the magical atmosphere. Ideal for a short stroll and a few souvenir photos of your own!

Great place, funky if you stay in one of the « mobile room » or more classic in one of the cabins. Very reasonable prices for room -king size bed- with Private bathroom and Breakfast included ( big buffet). We paid ( January 2025) 40 Euros/night. Surrounded with nature and super quiet.

Unusual landscape composition with steep karst rocks, flooded valleys and very low/narrow "wet" caves. Everything can be experienced during a 3-hour rowing boat tour. The World Heritage title has been awarded here for good reason.

there's an incredible view from here and also a boat ride further up the road if you want a tour. guest house here is decent food with an English menu, slightly more expensive than your street food though
