On the way to the village of Sokraki, there is a cliff, which is called "The Mule's Leap" because, legend has it that a young woman named Agiro, daughter of a baron of the region, returning from the village of Valaneio with her mule saw her city burning. Desperate and distressed, she blindfolded her mule and herself and proceeded blindly along the narrow path where they fell together over the cliff.

Incredibly beautiful place. A staircase, which is currently in a dangerous state of disrepair, leads to a great little bay for swimming.

Great canal that seems to be a tourist magnet. The bizarrely eroded rocks are really incredibly beautiful to look at.

The beach is partly passable, but partly broken away. The cliff is so steep that for about 60m the only path is through the water. I carried my backpack and bike while wading chest deep in the sea. Loved it!

Very rocky, not easy to walk hiking trail. But the path is relatively well marked. Quite challenging with multi-day luggage. Sturdy shoes and sure-footedness are absolutely necessary
