Wangen an der Aare is a municipality and capital of the administrative district of Oberaargau in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The little town with the historic town center is located in a rural setting directly on the large Mittelland river Aare between the towns of Olten and Solothurn, but belongs to the Bernese Oberaargau.
