The Vornbacher Enge is interpreted as a Pleistocene breakthrough valley. At the boundary between young loose rocks and crystalline basement rock, the valley of the Inn narrows noticeably. In the Pleistocene, the river cut epigenetically into the slowly rising crystalline rock. Very beautiful, unspoilt and natural valley.

Coming from the north there is again a sign saying “cycling is prohibited”. Probably because of liability. The trail is not entirely safe, but it is great.

If you are not too fine to carry your bike for a while, the way is a very nice bike route. :-) However, more for mountain bikes, but in principle also suitable for normal touring bikes. (But then with slightly longer sliding passages)
