A new rest area with a hut and service station has been set up at the Neualbenreuth Mytina border crossing. This station offers tools and air conditioning. A great feature if you have a breakdown.

You reach this point via the rooted path*. Various signposts and a stele provide information. There is also a permanent hut here where you can rest, shelter from bad weather, or rest a bit in the upper area. You can cross the stream behind the stele and thus pass the green border. Across the road, a small path leads to the forest path in the Rehau Forest. *The path is somewhat slippery in places.
