The refuge is a simple cabin with a fireplace, stove and wooden bunk beds. It is an ideal starting point for exploring Peña de la Gallina and other nearby routes, such as the Camino del Cid. The circular route from the refuge to Peña de la Gallina offers spectacular views and is suitable for hiking, mountain biking and running.🚵🚶♀️🚴😎🌄

It is a beautiful picnic area with wooden tables surrounded by trees next to the Tagus River and the border between the provinces of Cuenca and Teruel.
