The refuge is a simple cabin with a fireplace, stove and wooden bunk beds. It is an ideal starting point for exploring Peña de la Gallina and other nearby routes, such as the Camino del Cid. The circular route from the refuge to Peña de la Gallina offers spectacular views and is suitable for hiking, mountain biking and running.🚵🚶‍♀️🚴😎🌄

Fairly large shelter, with two picnic tables inside (large), windows, and plenty of space around to put mats and sleep. It does not have a fireplace. It is in a recreational area, with a fountain and picnic tables also outside. The lagoon is close, and you can hear many birds. Very quiet and very pleasant area.

If the fountain does not work, it is because it depends on a spring and in times of drought, logically, no water will come down or barely a trickle. At 2km there is a fountain at the entrance of Orihuela de Tremedal or services in the same town.

The Singing Fountain is not only what its name indicates, but you can also find a couple of shelters in very good condition, tables and chairs to spend a pleasant moment in this wonderful place. In short, it is a recreational and picnic area that is worth visiting if you are in the area!
