Moclín Viewpoint (also known as Mirador del Camino Nuevo) It has a small parking area and is easily accessible by car. It offers spectacular panoramic views of the white village perched atop the castle crag, with the Sierra Elvira and Sierra Nevada mountains in the background. From here, you can take iconic photos of the town and fortified complex of Moclín.

Íllora is a municipality located in the eastern part of the Loja region, and where its castle is characteristic. This one, located on a cliff, means that when you approach the town you see it above the rest of the town.

Moclín was the last frontier of the Nasrid kingdom of Granada and the protagonist of one of the decisive battles in which King Boabdil lost the Alhambra and went into exile in North Africa. Its citadel or castle is one of the most significant monuments of the town, but by no means the only one.
