The Belagua refuge is a symbol of mountaineering in Navarre, its location makes it the ideal starting point for any adventure. It is open all year round and has 54 beds. It also offers food service and a bar.

After leaving the Ibeneta Pass behind you, the hostel at the former monastery is the first one you come across. It is located in the rear courtyard of the former monastery.

We spontaneously got a place in the hut during our visit in July 2024. Nice people, very good food, well-kept rooms.

There is also a water source not far from the hut, just follow the sign.

Modern and well-equipped mountain hut. Nice staff and good food and drinks.

In February it is closed but it has tables and recreation areas around it. Also garbage containers to recycle. It is a crossroads of several GR trails so it is very well located

There are enough camping opportunities right on the river. Nice place.
