Right at the beginning of this path I leave the asphalt track that goes up to Falgars, the problem is that there is a metal fence and three signs that prohibit the passage on the asphalt track. Today I was regulatory and I did not take it, but it is easily accessible from the side and once I was up, in Falgars, I saw that everyone was passing through it without any problem (photo of the fence in Falgars, the one in Hostalets is the same). The section that I have marked for you here is very beautiful, you follow the river and pass under the Coromina waterfall, the Portella spring and the new spring, the problem is that you cannot do it by bike. More than an hour pushing the bike. Stone, moss, steps and slopes between 30 and 40°. The next one on the asphalt track skipping the ban!!!

This section accompanies the Sant Aniol stream for a large part of its route. The forest guides you through its course and shows you various waterfalls and crystalline pools. If you go in summer, do not hesitate to take a dip in these wonderful waters.

This is a wonderful short hike for you and your family. If you come in spring all the flowers are in bloom and there are not many people. During the summer it can be crowded so the local government requires a reservation in advance. This is true of all the gorges in this area, but a day pass allows you to visit them all. The waters of the Cogolls stream are filtered and become groundwater in the area. They are enriched with dissolved calcium bicarbonate, which petrifies the plants and shapes the travertines of the waterfall. It is one of the most beautiful pools in the Planes d'Hostoles.
