The terrace is a great place to take a break. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. They serve excellent coffee and snacks (sweet and savory). It seems that locals also stop by (they seem to know each other) – that's a sign that it must be good!

This bird watching hut is called Tapsmoer. That is not an exotic bird, but a corruption of the abbot's marsh, the abbot's marsh. In the past, this area belonged to monks who extracted peat.

Good to know that you can take shelter in this shelter in all weather conditions. Ideal during rainfall but also in intense sunlight. Nice and dry out of the wind and in the shade.
