Weather shelter in the 118 hectare nature reserve Het Sweeltje between Montfort and Sint Odilie along the Vlootbeek. Varied hiking trails through the forest area. Also popular with mountain bikers - newly constructed single-track, one-way route separated from the parallel hiking trails.

This bird hide from Limburgs Landschap vzw on the edge of the De Zig nature reserve is not very large and offers a view of a limited pond, but I found it quite well located and pleasant despite its relative simplicity. The fact that a swallow has a nest in it and that some birds came to sit on the edges of the viewing openings while I was eating a sandwich may have played a role :) Even without binoculars I could see quite a lot of water birds.

A shelter in the Melicker Ohe. A good place to rest or when it rains. There are no other shelters in the area
