Beautiful covered rest area near the lake.

Unfortunately (as of February 2026), the view of the lake from the cabin's "windows" is heavily overgrown. This should probably be cleared soon, otherwise the cabin is of little use as a birdwatching hide.

Here you can take a break and enjoy the view of the lake.

Picnic table in a covered shelter on a heathland-surrounded fen. Along the main path to the watery fen, you'll find two benches that are often occupied in good weather.

This was once a birdwatching hide. It still is, in fact, one, but due to the vegetation in front of it, there are currently no birds to be seen here at all. At best, it's a hide with graffiti. There is still a sign listing birds you might see here, but you'd better find a spot elsewhere.

Attention! The entrance to the bird hide is very swampy. The hide itself is also partly under water during our visit. It had not rained for more than a week.
