Luulampi Hütte is a beautiful lakeside rest area tucked away in the heart of Finnish Lapland. Set beside the tranquil waters of Lake Luulampi, it offers a peaceful and scenic stopover. The site is well-equipped, featuring clean toilets, a fire pit for cozy breaks, and a spacious hut with wooden tables where you can relax and warm up. During the summer months, a small restaurant is open daily from 10 AM to 4 PM. Luulampi is an ideal waypoint for a one-day mountain biking tour starting from Laanila, offering both a natural retreat and essential facilities in the middle of the wild.

Lake Inari is the third largest lake in Finland and the largest in the Sápmi region. It is a vast body of water with a surface area of more than 1,000 km². In addition to native fish species such as trout, pollock, Arctic char, whitefish, grayling, perch and pike, the area also contains about 3,000 islands. The most famous of these are Hävdieennâmsuálui or the "cemetery island" and Äijih or the "Ukko stone" - especially the latter, which served as a historical sacrificial site for the Sámi people.

About 100m next to the quiet road a good place to set up a tent or take a break. Good lake access, cold and clear water. Also lots of blueberries and an unofficial fire pit. Also used by mobile homes.

Nice destination for a day hike from Kiilopää.

Beautiful rest area by the lake. Toilets and fireplace as well as a large house with lounge area are available. A restaurant is open in the summer from 10am to 4pm.

Lake Inari: sacred lake of the Sami, indescribably beautiful and diverse with extensive reed areas, small beaches, 1000 kl. Islets, jetties, rocky outcrops, shallow coves, craggy rocky shores... and always embedded in wooded slopes.

Inarijärvi is the 3rd largest lake in Finland and is (almost) completely frozen over during the long winter months. One of the islands is considered sacred to the Sami people. There are boat tours in summer and snowmobile tours on the lake in winter.
