Stora Stenbrottet at Kinnekulle is one of the area's most popular attractions and is nicknamed the "mini Grand Canyon" by locals. It is a 40 meter deep former limestone quarry. The lower layers of limestone are 400 million years old and the tones of the stone layers and the beautiful setting have made the quarry one of Kinnekulle's most popular spots. In addition to the fantastic view and surroundings, there is also a small fishing lake in the middle of the quarry.

Lidköping has an unusually large main square where the old town hall, a former hunting lodge, is located. In the city center there are numerous wooden houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. Also worth seeing is the Nikolaikirche, which was built after 1849 in the neo-Gothic style.

A lovely rest area on a rocky plateau overlooking a quarry lake near Munkangarna. The hiking trails around the lake are beautiful and varied. There are geocaches nearby. Enjoy nature!
