A detour to the Orsnässtugan (cottage) with its Orsnässtgan Café is worthwhile. Ornässtugan is located at the tip of a peninsula in Orsnäs on Lake Osjön or Runn.

A wonderful rest area off the road. With benches right by the lake or seating with tables in the shade of the trees. You can cycle past the barrier and directly reach the rest area by the lake. Those arriving by car must park in front of the barrier and walk the last few meters.

Bathing area with jetty, changing room and bench at Lilla Ulvsjön, Dalarna. You can camp on the lawn or spend the night in the changing room (if there are not many people).

Note: Unfortunately no longer usable as the hut was damaged by vandals!

a shelter of the super class. Outside, a sign explicitly points out the "Everyman's Right". The hut can therefore be used by anyone. Of course it has to be kept clean, but the sign isn't necessary, is it? Living room, bedroom, kitchen (with stove) - everything is there. In the morning at 6.00 a.m. the electric heating even went on for half an hour. Oh yes, electricity is also available for lights and sockets. There is water at the nearby lake, where there is also a swimming area (with a bathing ladder!). What more do you want?

If you turn off the Sméleden and are willing to take a short detour to the nature reserve around Lake Jätturn, you come to a rest area with benches and a hut on the other side of the bank (where you probably don't want to spend the night). Apparently a popular destination for the Swedes on weekends, who come here with picnic baskets to grill around the fireplace. The special thing about the place: two rowing boats are moored on the bank, with which you can row to the small grotto opposite. The way to the rest area is narrow, stony and gnarled. I think it's worth the detour.
