Very pleasant walk, sometimes wet, some areas with lots of stones and roots, several possibilities to leave the route to return by more comfortable paths

Thanks to a lucky rug, I found this wonderful spot. The shelter 'BÅSTAFORSEN' is located on a promontory at Storfärden in the village of Marma. It is only accessible on foot or by bike.

Beautiful long jetty into the lake. When it's windy you can sit in the hut at the end of the jetty. When the sun is shining you can sit in front of it. There's a beautiful view from there.

Great landscape. You are always surrounded by water. However, some of the paths are very overgrown. Sturdy shoes are a must.

There are always two rowing boats here that can be used free of charge. You can row to the small island and have a picnic there. You can also get a permit from the authorities to spend the night on the island. A great thing in the summer.

You can also swim very well here, there is even a hut at the front of the jetty where you can sit. Because there is sometimes a cold breeze at the front of the jetty. There is also a diving board about 1.5 m high that you can use. It is really nice there.

There is WC available, and a place to park camping cars. The tree house at the end of the bridge is the rebuild old 'taxi-boat' station.
