The shelter didn't burn. Only the overhang in front of it burned (see photos). Great spot for swimming.

Probably still under construction. When we wanted to look at the garden on May 24, the paths were still covered in slush and therefore not easily accessible.

After 11 kilometers on the Vasaloppet route you will come across the first checkpoint. In the summer you can't make a mark here, but during the cross-country skiing competition in March it is very busy here. The checkpoint is nicely located next to Lake Smågan. You can fill your bottle with water here and there is the possibility to spend the night in the nearby hut.

Stensjon is a large water pool with man made rock formations. An ideal stop to relax and possibly cool off in the water.
