The flat rocks at the southern end of Stora Stentjärnen are perfect for sunbathing or a refreshing dip in the water.

Here you walk directly along Lake Surtesjön, between forest, rocks, and water. A beautiful stretch with benches, small beaches, and wonderful peace and quiet.

A few steps off the path lead you to a lovely swimming spot. In summer, it's the perfect place for a quick cool-off.

Here you can walk on a beautiful wooden walkway almost directly above the water and enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Surtesjön.

Completely unexpectedly, this small sandy beach suddenly appears between the many fantastic rocks 👍 In the stormy, rainy 12 degrees, we would have preferred the dream sauna that appeared a little later 😉.

Hedlunds Park is an historic green space thatt forms part of Hisingsparken, the largest park in Gothenburg. ​ It is named after Sven Adolf Hedlund, who around 1860, initiated the creation of Slätta damm by damming a marsh and planted forests in the surrounding area

You'll first spot the little beach from high up above the bay. Its turquoise water and strip of bright sand seem to be straight from a postcard. Once you reach the beach it will be hard to resist heading into the sea for a swim!
