We spent the night here in a tent and can only agree. It can also be reached by car and can therefore be quite full in the summer months, but at the end of August it was fine. You can fill up water at the information point shortly before or you can get it from the stream.

Vindskydd (weather shelter) with 4-5 beds on the edge of the Stora Röå nature reserve, directly on the E1 (European long-distance hiking trail 1). Barbecue fireplace in front, outhouse a little below. Close by is a nice place to sit (bench) by the lake. You can also get water here (better to boil it). Unfortunately, you can hear the traffic quite loudly.

Another great shelter along västra vätterleden. Beautiful place, well maintained with a fireplace, toilet and a garbage bin. Great quality on the water. The place is accessible by car, with a walk last part of 250m. Great sized parkingspot. Using the fireplace you have to bring your own wood. It is not allowed to gather material for the fire inside the nature reserve itself.

Shelter, fireplace, toilets, camping tables and benches and plenty of space for tents. Right next to an amazing swimming spot.

a very large shelter for 10 people is super nice with a lake view. A saw is available, but fire prohibition signs hang in the forest due to the risk of forest fires
