No, you're not dreaming ! You are indeed in Corsica, although this narrow canyon may remind you of a Far West setting. This parade of La Scala di Santa Regina (Saint Régine's staircase) is a long gorge that stretches for more than 15 kilometers. It was dug by the Golo river which flows below. You evolve at the foot of high rock faces. That's wonderful !

My recommendation is to ride the Col de Vergio first and then take the descent through the gorge and just let yourself roll and be amazed. The heat can accumulate extremely in the gorge, while the ascent to the Col de Vergio has many trees that offer shade from time to time.

From the street keep left and walk for 5 minutes until you come to a small bridge. There left down to the river.

Corsica in the hinterland in the middle of the mountains, always surprised by different landscapes. Here wild macchia alternate with pasture areas, cows and kites are the only ones to see here, people would have to look for them.
