Cabin used in August 2025. There are no mattresses, but a wooden structure on which to place your own sleeping mats or mattresses. Sleeps approximately 8-10. Very good condition and well maintained. A stream flows about 20 meters away, and there is also a source (pipe) of drinking water (indicated on the map) 150 meters away. Bivouacs are also possible nearby.

The Belagua "Ángel Olorón" Refuge was inaugurated in 1971 in a strategic location at the head of the Roncal Valley and for decades it has experienced different moments, from abandonment, reforms and years of high mountain activity until its definitive closure in 2004. Accommodation and shopping facilities at GR10 and HRP: Cottage settlement with restaurant and small grocery store. The overnight prices are quite expensive. One of the chalets is designed with 2-3 person rooms especially for hikers. At the beginning of September 2016 we got a place to sleep without a reservation. But you probably can't rely on that. There is also an associated campsite down the road towards Lac d'Iraty, but we didn't see it ourselves.
