The Ruchegg is a beautiful, quiet little pass crossing from Rothenthurm to Trachslau. As mentioned by robam above, it is easier to cycle in this direction (asphalt road and short gravel road uphill, first meadow trail and then longer, steep gravel road downhill to Trachslau).
