This tunnel does not belong to the St. Anna tunnel and has no connection with it (we were told this when we asked during the tour of the show mine).

The St. Anna tunnel is a show mine near Nothweiler in Rhineland-Palatinate. The former ore mine is protected as a cultural monument.

"The knight's stone [one of the 308 knight's stones of the PWV] is integrated into the masonry of the upper tunnel entrance of the "Erzgrube St. Anna Stollen". [...] The inscription consists of three parts: 'Glückauf' refers to the traditional greeting in German mining regions. 'L. v. G.' and the year 1838 indicate the completion of the tunnel entrance by Ludwig von Gienanth. [...] Knight's stone no. 10 [with the identical name] is located at the lower tunnel entrance."
