The hut is on the direct path to the summit of the Piton de Neiges. The hut is very simple (there are no showers and only three toilets in total, not separated by gender). You sleep either in shared rooms in the hut itself (up to 15 beds) or in military tents (each with 8 beds). There are no pillows, just wool blankets. So don’t forget your hut sleeping bag.
