Güterhof Freier Platz 10 The Güterhof, built in 1787, used to serve as a warehouse for transit salt and is located in the former port district, today's Schifflände. The Güterhof was converted into a warehouse after 1848. The attached canopy made it possible to unload goods in a protected manner. Schaffhausen's old town begins with the Lower Town.
