The Chalet Amis de la Nature Glück Auf Hütte is a mountain hut that follows the tradition of the Amis de la Nature (Friends of Nature). The Friends of Nature are an international movement committed to protecting the environment and promoting environmentally conscious tourism. The name "Glück Auf" comes from the miners' tradition and was a typical greeting in the mining industry that wished for prosperity and safety. Such huts often offer overnight accommodation and food for hikers and travelers and are located in scenic areas that invite outdoor activities such as hiking and relaxation.

Good place to rest and sleep. Peace and quiet and a view - but unfortunately south facing, so no sunrise or sunset.

A small house to stop by. There is an outdoor boules court. There is food and drinks inside.

The Forbach forest offers a perfect setting for walking. Various hiking routes are laid out there. For lovers of longer itineraries, a Friends of Nature chalet allows you to spend the night there. In addition to its pretty wooded paths, the place is home to other little gems such as the Sainte-Croix chapel.

Chic and weatherproof hut right on the banks of the Burbacher Weiher. A nice place to take a break while walking around the pond.

I don't see the huts as "highlights" in the sense of sights, but I have added photos to the Komoot map for the purpose of orientation. (I especially find the round huts very similar.) There are numerous shelters in the area. This one is not the prettiest of them all, in my opinion, but it is striking.
