Nice stopover on the way to Canyamel. Defensive tower from the 13th century, now houses a small museum. Unfortunately, you can't get to the roof terrace. The sanctuary of San Salvador is located on top of a hill, overlooking the town of Artá. It is a Renaissance church with a walled enclosure that offers impressive views of the town and the surrounding area. Of course, to enjoy the views you will have to climb the 180 steps that take you to the top!

Castell de sa Punta de n'Amer, the history During the 16th century, the need for guarded coasts arose when pirates from North Africa and the Ottoman Empire constantly attacked Mallorca. However, the final decision to build this fortress was not made until a violent attack took place in 1611, causing serious damage to the east coast. Beautiful medieval town with small narrow streets and quite a few cafes and restaurants. The climb possibly via the stairs to San Salvador castle is worth it
