The Lagunas del Trampal are three glacial lakes on the eastern slope of the Cuerda del Calvitero mountain. Nestled among sprawling high pastures, these lakes are a beautiful place to visit.

Laguna del Duque is the biggest lake in the Sierra de Gredos national park. The lake was originally formed by glaciers, but at the beginning of the 20th century, it was dammed and a hydroelectric power station was built at its feet.
