The trail cannot be found between waypoints 2 and 3, or even beyond point 3, in March 2025. Many trees in the forest are uprooted, and the ground is quite slippery. Unfortunately, we had to abort.

The short section of the hiking trail secured with chains is only about 10-15 meters long and covers a height of 4-5 meters, so I would hardly call it a via ferrata. Sure-footedness is required, but the terrain is not very exposed and I would not classify the section as dangerous/challenging in the context of the hike.

The path from Biniaraix up to the Cuber reservoir takes you through countless serpentines through a sometimes very narrow gorge... The ascent is mostly paved and the steps are not too high and therefore pleasant to walk on

We were able to get through the tunnels easily with a flashlight. There was water in the last one, but we were able to trudge through it. Pure adventure... 😉 You have to be careful, because the dark paths are very uneven and bumpy.

We walked from the bottom to the top. That was better because the path is often "rocky". The "no entry" and "rockfall" signs must be ignored at the third tunnel at the latest because it can no longer be avoided. The path was easy to walk on and not overgrown. Fallen trees had been removed (as of 10/24) Flashlight is an advantage, a cell phone flashlight will do. Tunnel not too long.

Don't do the route!!! The tunnels are closed, you can still go around the first three, but the fourth is no clear detour or possibly over the tunnel... but then probably at risk to your own life.... We could not return to the lakes because of the time and altitude... had to walk for miles to then arrange a taxi for tens of euros.....

We hiked the route in September 23rd. Was fun! There are four tunnel sections, half of the first (coming from below) we had to balance over the pipe because there was water in the passage. But we were able to support ourselves well on the wall and ceiling. The sections between the tunnels are quite steep and sometimes there are large branches lying around. But everything was doable :)

Good alternative if you want to save yourself the "climbing" on the opposite side of the gorge. However, the path is not really maintained, in May 2023 there were still some trees in the way that you have to climb over.

The torrent de l'Ofre, famous among lovers of canyoning, forms a waterfall at this point called gorg de Can Catí. It is a perfect corner to take a break and enjoy natural wonder. However, keep in mind that in the dry summer months it does not usually carry water.

All full of fallen trees. It's easy to lose your way there. The third tunnel was half underwater. Those who are sure-footed can balance over the tube.
