The unfinished church could not be completed due to a lack of funds. Today, there is a sports field inside the Església Nova (New Church). Bizarre, but nice to look at. Concerts, plays and other events take place in the "church without a roof". In my opinion, this is a typical example of how necessity is turned into a virtue on Mallorca. I find the way the unfinished church is being dealt with to be very pragmatic.

A refuge in the most stunning location. We were a group of 5 and we were allocated a room which slept 6. There's nothing better than opening a can of lager with friends after a long hot day on the GR221.
