Waterfall that is generated thanks to the construction of an old dam now in disuse. If you go in the rainy season, a large amount of water can fall and if you go around the dam you can climb to its top and carefully observe the still stagnant water and even go over the wall of the dam (being very careful not to fall ). In fact, if you cross behind the pool of water, being very careful not to fall into the mud (because that whole area is very swamped), you can see another couple of hidden waterfalls (when there is water).

The mill dates from the 18th century and is located in a picturesque setting on the bed of the Rubionzo stream. It is currently restored and works as a rural house, it has a picnic area next to it and a few meters away is a beautiful waterfall.

Both the waterfall and the environment that surrounds it are simply wonderful. Easily accessible, this waterfall is a waterfall of about 70 meters with a natural pool at its feet. A true paradise that deserves to be visited at any time of the year, although it is recommended in spring-summer.

It is difficult to get to the same waterfall. And many times it carries very little water, like the day I was there.

We were very lucky because we went to see it expressly one day after heavy rains, normally the waterfall at the source of the Asón river, also called "Cailagua" is usually more restrained, even in summer the water is reduced to a minimum. The waterfall was so strong and the paths leading to it absolutely flooded that you could barely get past it.
